Eggnog Mug Cake in 2 Minutes

Mug cakes seem to be all the rage these days so I decided to make one for you that has a festive twist. This simple cake only takes four ingredients and is baked up in the microwave in no time. I love using eggnog to add moisture and eggnog extract to give it a truly authentic taste. If you don’t have eggnog extract it is just as easy to use vanilla and rum extract to produce the same results. I can totally see myself making these on Christmas day evening after a long day with family. They would also be so much fun to serve at a party!

Eggnog Mug Cake

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

4 tablespoons sugar

1 egg

3 tablespoons eggnog

3 tablespoons oil

Whipped cream

1. Stir the flour and sugar together in a mug. Add the egg and mix well. Then stir in the eggnog and oil and mix everything well with a fork.

2. Microwave the mug for 2 minutes. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg and serve!
