Last year I wrote about my favorite espresso granita. It tasted awesome but it was tough to make a little because I had a terrible time getting the pan to fit in my freezer. This time I thought I would try to make the granita in a bag. I mixed up the espresso like I usually do and froze it in a simple Hefty bag. The beauty was that the bag was SO much easier to fit on my freezer shelves! Once it was frozen I was easily able to scrape out the granita and serve it alongside my morning cereal. Hurray, an easier way to make granita!
Easy Espresso Granita in a Bag
2 cups fresh brewed espresso
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1. Stir together the coffee and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Pour it into a Hefty Bag and allow it to freeze completely.
2. Once the espresso is completely frozen use fork tines to scrape it into a large cup and top with whipped cream.
