A slice of bacon is one of life’s finest pleasures. But why settle for  a fine pleasure, when you can take it up a notch and turn that bacon into a decadant celebration of salt and deliciousness? Here are ten easy ways to take that simple slice of bacon up a notch.

1-Maple Pecan Bacon. Dip raw slices of bacon in brown sugar, then crushed pecans. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees until crispy.

2-Chocolate Bacon. Spread a slice of cooked bacon with melted chocolate. Allow the chocolate to cool before serving.

    Regarding Number 7, this is wrong. (lol) You first slice the hot dog halfway through lengthwise, push a piece of cheese in there, then wrap the cheese-filled hot dog in bacon, then broil at 450 for 15-20 minutes, or grill, until your bacon is done. These are called Texas Tommies. It’s a Philly thing.
