Did you know that the best banana bread comes from bananas that are extra ripe with plenty of black spots? The banana starch turns to sugar and makes the bananas extra sweet. Even bananas that are way too mushy to eat raw are delicious (and perfect) for making banana bread.

Bananas are high in potassium and fiber and easy to digest. So dig in, and feel good!

Banana bread is classically made with walnuts – but you can try peanuts, cashews, pecans or even pumpkin seeds as accents.
