You haven’t had Chicken Tenders until you’ve had these incredible spicy chicken tenders which are drenched in a spicy flour mixture, then topped with a hot sauce so good it will make you want to run up and down the street, declaring the good word to your neighbors. Chances are pretty good you have all the ingredients needed to make this recipe, so run to your kitchen and get baking.
Spicy Chicken Tenders
- 1/2 lb chicken tenders
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup unbleached all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Original Red Hot sauce
- 1/2 cup (high heat) canola oil
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Toss the chicken tenders with the egg. Place in the fridge while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
In a shallow bowl, mix the four, cumin, paprika, pepper, and salt.
Carefully drench each chicken tender piece and lay flat on a baking sheet.
Pre-heat the oven to 400ºF. Whisk together the remaining ingredients. Dip each floured chicken tender into the sauce. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake or 25 minutes. Turn the chicken tenders once then use a spatula to turn them over. Bake for another 10 minutes. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly. Serve and enjoy!!!
