thenaptimechef TheNaptimeChef |

Banana PopsThere are have tons of delicious cake pop recipes on this site but the other day I knew I needed to cut back and try something healthier. So, I decided fall back on an old favorite, chocolate dipped frozen banana pops. Slices of banana dipped in chocolate and frozen on a stick. They are so easy to make and so much fun to eat. If you have the time and decorations roll them in sprinkles for an extra fun touch! These are also great for children, especially for larger gatherings when you don’t want the kids to be overly hopped up on sugar. This method also works with strawberries, orange slices, pears and apples!

Frozen Banana Pops

1 large banana

1 cup semisweet chocolate melted until smooth

1. Cut the banana in small chunks and roll them in the melted chocolate. Lay on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and freeze for at least 2 hours.
