One of my favorite things to do is make tons of waffles and freeze them to serve my daughter all week long. I just slip them in a Hefty Slider Bag and place them in the freezer. Then, each morning I am able pick out one or two, pop them in the toaster and, voila, breakfast is ready! It is such an easy way to have a healthy breakfast at the ready. Here is how I do it:
1) Make a double batch of our favorite waffle recipe. Allow them to cool to room temperature.
2) Slip them into a Hefty Slider bag and press as much air out of it as possible. Slide top shut.
3) Label bag and place in the freezer.
4) When waffles are requested pull out desired amount and toast!
