Fruity Jello

mackicayloma mackicayloma |

Remember all the Jello I made into popsicles? I placed the left overs (and there was a lot) in adorable mini jello molds and jello must not be my strength because I followed the directions; placed jello and fruit into adorable molds, refrigerated for 24  hours and what do I get? Adorable molds with jello stuck inside. So, adorable little glasses to the rescue! Using glass wasn’t my plan but they turned out beautifully. Check out how I saved the day (and feel free to provide any tips for getting jello out of molds)…

Adorable Jello molds.                                                   Jello mold fail.

Fruity Jello Recipe

1 package of any flavor Jello

1 cup of fruit cut into bite sized pieces

Cook jello according to the package.  Divide fruit into mini molds and cover with jello.  Refrigerate overnight.  When you go to release the jello from the mold make sure to have some adorable glasses to put them in incase the stick!

* my flavor choices from left to right. Peach with nectarine and raspberry, berry lemon with strawberries, mango with strawberry and kiwi.

  1. Dawn says:

You can get Jello to come out of molds easier by using unflavored cooking spray on the mold :) .

  2. Greg Strong says:

I see a kiwi there, I believe kiwi is one of the fruits that they say not to use because it has enzymes that react poorly with the gelatin and retards the “set” of the jello. I’m not sure if that is the actual problem, but it could very well be.
