Over on espnW, former Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders has been keeping us updated on her progress as she trains for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon. Whether you’re training for a marathon, playing in a regular pick-up game, or just hitting the gym to keep in shape, working out regularly means your nutritional needs will be different from someone who is sedentary, and that’s just as true for your family. Here are ten energy-packed, family-friendly recipes to eat before exerting yourself and ten more to eat after you work out.
