National Donut Day is almost here! June 1 marks the 75th annual celebration of this sacred fried dough holiday. What better way to spend it than chowing down on FREE donuts?! Entenmann’s Bakery has teamed up with The Salvation Army to offer one lucky reader an Entenmann’s Bakery prize pack — including a $25 Entenmann’s gift certificate! Find out how you can nab this sweet prize, after the jump!
So how exactly did our favorite breakfast treats get a day devoted solely to themselves? We can thank The Salvation Army for that. Back in 1938, the organization established the holiday to honor their “donut lassies” who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. Entenmann’s is giving us an easy way to support The Salvation Army and their donut lassies, too! From now until June 23, Entenmann’s Bakery will donate $1 to The Salvation Army for every person who “likes” their Facebook page!
Now for the sweet stuff. Entenmann’s and The Salvation Army have teamed up to offer one lucky reader a delicious prize pack, including:
- $25 Entenmann’s Bakery gift certificate
- A “Donut Guy” plush toy
- A National Donut Day T-shirt
- An Entenmann’s coffee mug
So how can you get your hands on this tasty prize pack? Comment on this post with your favorite type of donut for your chance to win!
