I think it’s a good sign when you are trying out a new product on your 6- and 8-year-olds and then at the end of the meal, you completely forgot to pay attention to whether they liked it or not. I pan-seared these Blue Ribbon Naked Nuggets (real chicken, gluten-free, not fried) in a little olive oil for five minutes as directed, and slid them onto my kids’ plates with a salad and some bread. I tried a bite of one somewhere along the cooking process and, though it wasn’t as tasty as a chicken I could grill for them, I have to say…it was pretty good. I think because of that I put it out of my mind that it was something they’d like. I just assumed they would. And they did. Next thing I noticed the plate was clean. Except for the salads. Naked Nuggets are available at Costco, Kings Supermarkets, Fairway Markets, Gourmet Garage, Stew Leonard’s, Food Lion, Mrs. Green’s, Bloom Supermarkets.
