Turkey burgers, once considered dry, tasteless and generally unpalatable are a thing of the past. When I first started making turkey burgers, I was using the pre-formed patties. They were horrible. Then I learned to add lots of other seasonings and either cheese or vegetables to help add juiciness to the burgers. Ground turkey is so low in fat, you have to add moisture back to the meat in some other form. In this recipe, I used crumbled feta cheese. I also added dried oregano and garlic for flavor. I used garlic powder in my recipe for convenience, but you could alternatively use 2 cloves of grated garlic cloves.
