We already have too much candy in the house. I’ll be donating a lot of it to my husband’s office who will ship it overseas to troops, but I am still collecting the leftover random pieces to cook with. Over the weekend I made this incredibly rich stack of pancakes studded with candy corn and my family thought they’d just about died and gone to heaven. In fact, we all only had about two bites each because it was so rich, but it was worth it. Instead of just dolling out the candy plain, make some pancakes!
Halloween Candy Pancakes
1 batch creamy buttermilk pancakes
1 cup candy corn, Reese’s Pieces, or other similar candy
Mix the candy corn into the bowl of pancake batter. Melt a pat of butter in a skillet and pour in 1/2 cup of the batter. Cook the pancake until bubbles show through the surface of the pancake. Flip and cook the other side of the pancake until lightly browned. Enjoy!
