Healthy Kid's Recipes: Weelicious Cookbook Giveawaylaurasrecipes
Earlier this month, I shared a recipe for simple yet healthy two ingredient yogurt pops by popular chef and food blogger, Catherine McCord of Weelicious.com. That recipe is a sample of the types of kid-friendly yet very healthy recipe ideas you’ll find on Weelicious. Her site has become the online destination for parents wanting to encourage healthy family meals. And now Catherine has a new cookbook coming out that will probably become the bible for parents who just need some guidance on how to keep their family’s food fresh, nutritious and delicious!
If Catherine looks familiar it’s because she is a former top model and actress whose image graced many magazine covers. As a model, she traveled the world and loved to experience new culinary discoveries on her trips. She took her passion for food to the next level by attending culinary school. When she became pregnant, she wanted to learn more about healthy and creative menus for children but didn’t find many resources online. That motivated Catherine to create Weelicious.com. With her two young children as kitchen helpers and recipe-testers, she developed and shared hundred of kid-friendly recipes that were enjoyed by the entire family. As her popularity and audience grew, she started work on her first cookbook. The result is a book loaded with tips, pantry checklists and 70 new recipes that aren’t on her website.
