Every time I break out my Trader Joe’s Canadian White Bread (we usually go whole wheat have this one around for French toast) I look at the loaf and wonder if Joe and friends meant to shape the dip at the top to tempt mothers into turning toast into hearts. Look at that piece of bread and tell me you could resist! I usually toast the bread first, then cut off the two bottom corners before spreading with jam. Only rule is that jam must be raspberry, strawberry or some shade of red.
