Help Feed the Hungry This Holiday Season with Handmade Olive Branch Holiday Wreaths and a Giveaway

Handmade Olive Branch Holiday Wreaths

These beautiful handmade olive leaf wreaths from Lindsay Olives are a perfect gift idea that hard to buy for individual. They are very fragrant, made with olive, bay and eucalyptus branches. These wreaths are economical too, just $30 for a 12 inch, and $35 for a 16 inch wreath. Every wreath is packaged in red tissue paper with a personalized gift card and care instructions.

By purchasing one of these fragrant wreaths, you are also helping to eliminate hunger through Lindsay Olive’s partnership with Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA). Meals on Wheels is the oldest and largest national organization composed of and representing community-based Senior Nutrition Programs. If you’ve known anyone who has worked with or benefited from Meals on Wheels, you know just what a special organization they are. They help seniors keep their independence while living at home, and help them stay healthy with nutritious hot meals.

These wreaths would be a perfect front door wreath, or used as a centerpiece, like I have done here. For this little project, I just took an old ashtray, you can barely see it in the photo, a few taper candles and a tea light. I cut the candles to different lengths. Then I melted the tea light candle in my candle warmer and poured the hot way in the ashtray, then arranged the candles in the hot wax. I just held them for a few minutes until the hot wax started to cool. You could also use one large candle in the middle of this wreath, seasonal fruits, or a tall cylindrical shaped vase filled with pine cones.

Now time for the fun part, Lindsay Olives is giving away one of their gorgeous 16 inch wreaths to one lucky reader (US Resident only). To enter in the giveaway, just tell me whether you would use this fragrant wreath as a holiday table centerpiece, or as a welcoming front door wreath.
