Holiday Sangria

Last year we spent Thanksgiving with my family at my brother’s house. I wanted to bring something festive for everyone to drink so I concocted this Holiday Sangria by combining a spiced simple syrup along with lots of fruit and wine. It was a hit. Once you make the simple syrup, there’s not much else to the recipe. It comes together pretty easily and would make a really nice hostess gift to bring to any get-together this holiday season.

Turning this into a ‘gift’ is actually very easy. I saved a few empty wine bottles and picked up some very inexpensive wine toppers … that alone makes a very nice presentation but if you are creative and crafty (me, not so much, ha!) you could probably put together a nice label to tie around the bottle. Enjoy this recipe and share it with friends this holiday season!

Find the recipe for spiced simple syrup and how to turn it into a delicious Holiday Sangria on my blog Aggie’s Kitchen. Cheers!
