We’re busy parents like you, and are always on the lookout for simple dinner ideas. But sometimes the quickest dinner isn’t one that you can make in fifteen minutes; instead, it’s one you’ve made ahead and just need to warm up. I find that doing the work ahead of time means that dinner is ready in a snap, and Brian and I can get the girls fed and in bed in a snap. Our honey ginger pork braise is one of those great make-ahead recipes that I love. I throw it on the stove on a Sunday, let it cook all day, and then I have a few weeknight dinners that can be made in a snap. Kale adds a little veggie goodness, and just a hint of honey and ginger give the incredibly tender pork amazing flavor.
