My kids are always up for a visit to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Not only do they give away free samples of fudge, but they have rows and rows of chocolate-covered treats. Of course, I’m not always up for a visit to the place. Because we can’t get three tiny bits of chocolate without blowing twenty bucks. It’s downright expensive. Chocolate and petrol. Much too expensive for my taste.
Determined to not let the high prices of mall chocolatiers deter us, the kids and I pulled together our own batch of their favorite RMCF treat…Hot Tub Teddy Bears. These simple little cups of milk chocolate are studded with hot-tubbing Teddy’s. How fun is that? Somehow, it’s exceptionally more fun when it’s afforable. Better yet, this little treat is super simple, an easy way to get your kiddos involved in the kitchen.
Hot Tub Teddy Bears
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
- 30-35 gummy bears
- 12-15 mini cupcake wrappers
Place the cupcake wrappers in a mini muffin tin. Spoon the melted chocolate into each cupcake wrapper, until each wrapper is just over half full. Gently press three or four gummy bears into the melted chocolate. Allow to cool completely before removing from the muffin tin.
