This is not a lesson in fine, gourmet cooking. And I’m sure when you hear “Eggs in the Microwave” you think of a rubbery fast-food breakfast sandwich. Let’s change that perception.
Don’t get me wrong. I am a huge advocate of traditional egg cooking methods. I love them scrambled, poached, boiled, fried, and in an omelette, frittata, quiche or casserole. I’ve been known to eat eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner – not all on the same day of course, but as you can see, I love the incredible edible.
So why cook eggs in the microwave? Speed, convenience and clean up.
