How to Make Homemade Pimento Cheese

Making pimento cheese at home is easy peasy and in my opinion, so much better than anything you can purchase in pre-packed containers in the market. It only requires 4 ingredients {one of which is usually a gimme ingredient in my house} and just a few minutes. I like to smear mine on a toasted baguette but it’s equally delicious in sandwich form too. The recipe comes from my fabulously techno-talented friend Christy who makes the best pimento cheese I’ve ever tasted ; )

Add a glass of SWEET TEA and you’ll be all set!

Pimento Cheese
What you’ll need:
12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
.4 ounces diced pimentos – drained
2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
black pepper

What to do:
1. Grate your cheese. Transfer to bowl. Add pimentos and 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. Mix to combine. If mixture is too thick add additional tablespoon of mayonnaise.

2. Season generously with black pepper.
