How to Make Peppermint Sugar

bellalimento bellalimento |

Did you know that making flavored sugars is super simple? It takes just TWO minutes to make and the add-in possibilities are limitless. It’s a great way to add a touch of zing to your baking, drinks and so much more. I adore all things peppermint and jump at the chance to add it when possible. Making peppermint sugar is a fun way to incorporate peppermint either subtly or not so subtly depending on how much you add.
A few of my favorite uses are:  I like to stir it into my morning coffee during the holiday months and add a bit into my homemade whipped cream!

Peppermint Sugar
What you’ll need:
1/4 cup sugar
6 starlight peppermints – unwrapped

What to do:
1. Place peppermints into your food processor and pulse until desired consistency. (NOTE:  Fine if you want to use it in baked goods or drinks or coarse if you’d  like to use it as a garnish to baked goods.) Add sugar pulse until combined.
