Pesto is one of my favorite condiments. It’s uses are pretty much endless as are the varieties of pesto. The most famous of pesto’s if you will is the basic basil pesto. It’s one of summer’s beautiful bounties. Every year before the end of summer I make a huge batch and freeze it so that I have it for a few months to come. It’s also fantastic frozen in ice cube trays and then placed into containers so that I can thaw out just what I need for a specific recipe! It’s easier than you think to make and we have a video tutorial after the jump to show you how.
