How to Make Refrigerator Pickles


Did you know that you can make your own delicious pickles in about 15 minutes? Yes you can when they’re refrigerator pickles. We’re going to show you our quick and easy method so you can have fresh delicious pickles anytime you desire. This basic recipe is a blank canvas to add in additional flavors like sliced onions, bell peppers, various herbs, spices. The sky is the limit!

Refrigerator Pickles
What you’ll need: {makes 2 pint jars}
6 small pickling cucumbers – sliced or cut into spears
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon celery seeds
2-4 cloves of garlic – halved

What to do:
1. Divide sliced/cut cucumbers between jars. Set aside.

2. Into a sauce pan add: sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seeds. Heat over medium heat until sugar has dissolved. Stir frequently. Remove from heat and allow mixture to come to room temperature.

3. Equally divide liquid between both jars. Top with lids and transfer to refrigerator.

4. Allow pickles to sit undisturbed for 24 hours before eating.

NOTE: Pickles must be refrigerated at all  times. They will last refrigerated for approximately two weeks.
