When the temperature outside drops, I like to heat things up on the inside. And I’m not just talking about the kitchen.
Sure, a pot of chili simmering on the stove warms up the house a bit. But a dose of chili powder in a heart-healthy batch of tomato lentils will heat up your insides too.
In this video I share my super basic recipe for spicy chili lentils, which can be flavored in a traditional spicy chili way, as demonstrated, or altered to suit different tastes with Indian curry powder or Italian herbs and seasonings.
