How To Make Spooky Spiderweb Eggs

If you like to play tricks on your friends this a great Halloween Hoax! The webs are spun with the help of frozen berries! No worries though you won’t be able to taste the berries in your eggs. It might even be fun to let them crack the eggs open themselves to discover that the “spiders” have been busy at work and watch their faces ; )

Spiderweb Eggs {Adapted from Martha Stewart}
What you’ll need:
6 eggs
1 cup frozen cherries

What to do:
1. Place eggs in a single layer in a deep sided sauce pan. Cover with water. Add cherries. Bring to a boil.

2. When water comes to a rolling boil. Turn off heat and let pan sit for approximately 10 minutes.

3. Using a slotted spoon, remove eggs from liquid and set on a kitchen towel. Using a wooden spoon and lightly crack the egg. The more cracks the more spiderwebs. Transfer cracked eggs into a medium bowl and cover with cherry liquid. Cover bowl. Transfer to refrigerator and allow eggs to cool completely.

4. Carefully peel eggs to reveal spiderweb design.
