We’ve been talking a lot about the importance of taking care of ourselves. We’re all super busy as parents and are expected to do a million things all at the same time and do them well. It’s a juggling act to say the least and sometimes something gets dropped. It’s all to easy to drop that “taking care of me” ball. But it’s the one we really shouldn’t. I’m guilty of this myself but I find that when I schedule in that time I take it and I always feel better once I do. One of the things that I do is to try and walk. I don’t have a fancy gym membership or a treadmill but I do have a subdivision that gives me quite a workout especially if I take the dog with.
I stay HYDRATED ON THE GO and when I get back it’s equally important to put back in what you just worked off. It’s as simple as pouring myself a glass of ice cold water. I’ll add lime slices and fresh strawberries and I sip it while I’m cooling down.
