Do you have an abundance of fresh herbs growing in your garden? Or maybe you picked up a bunch at the farmer’s market or from your local store? Either way we want them to stay as fresh as possible. Fresh herbs can last up to a week and a half when stored properly. A week and a half! That makes it worth the extra effort. To store those herbs all you’ll need are a Hefty Slider Bag and a damp paper towel.
Here’s what to do:
1. Clean your herbs.
2. Dampen a paper towel.
3. Loosely wrap paper towel around herbs. Place them inside your Hefty Slider Bag.
4. Store in your refrigerator’s crisper drawer.
