Last Minute Party Food: Healthy Yogurt Fruit Dip

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and a lot of us are already preparing for tonight’s festivities which includes, let’s be honest here, a lot of food. I know that I’m putting together a pretty fantastic spread for my little party of 4, because that’s just what we do for Super Bowl right? Our planned eats consist of guacamole and pico de gallo with tortillas, cheese nachos and chicken wings with all the fixings. And brownies. The mom (and health junkie) in me wants to balance all of this out and make sure there is a little fruit available for us to munch on. Since this isn’t just any typical dinner, I know I have to make that plate of fruit a little more festive so I’m going to serve it alongside this no-fail, always a hit, fruit yogurt dip that can be put together at the last minute with just 3 ingredients…and chances are you already have those 3 ingredients in your fridge!

Easy Yogurt Fruit Dip
Inspired by my friend Erica of Itzy’s Kitchen

1 small container french vanilla yogurt (my favorite to use is Stoneyfield brand)
1 teaspoon strawberry or peach preserves (Simply Fruit is great!)
1 generous dollop of light whipped topping

Combine ingredients in bowl and serve chilled alongside sliced strawberries, bananas, pineapple, oranges and apples (or fruit of your choice).
