Last Minute Watermelon Salad for Labor Day

By Kelsey Banfield |

Watermelon Salad

With the end of summer just around the corner it is time to take advantage of the last few flavors of the season while they are still here. One of our favorite things all summer long is watermelon. Yes, we will be able to get it practically year round, but it really is the best in the summer. This time of year I like to take advantage of the fresh fruit and make it into dishes that are both savory and sweet.

This watermelon salad is a particular favorite of ours because it is tangy, sweet, and savory all at once. I also love it because it can truly be made at the last minute. For example, if you have a party to go to this weekend look no further than this recipe and you’ll be all set to go in just a few minutes! Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!
