By Jennifer Savor the Thyme |

If you are looking for a Leftover Turkey Recipe that is not along the lines of a Turkey Pot Pie, than this may be the ones for you. My husband is a pushover for BBQ sandwiches and the fact that you already have the meat prepared, makes this one of his top picks for Leftover Turkey Recipes.

Plus, this recipe beats other Leftover Turkey Recipes is that it is super easy….

3 cups chopped leftover turkey
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 large garlic clove, minced
Juice of 1 lime or 1 Tablespoon prepared lime juice
1 teaspoon cider or red wine vinegar

1. Place turkey through lime juice into a crock pot and cook on low for 2 to 4 hours.

2. When the crock pot is done, add the vinegar and then shred the turkey with a fork

3. Serve on fresh rolls.

However, if you are in the mood for Turkey Soup, than this round-up of the best on the Internet is for you!

In addition, a Leftover Turkey Recipe that taste nothing like Thanksgiving dinner, than consider the Tortilla Bake or Cajun Pasta.

This is a great way to continue eating turkey after the holidays. Most of the leftover turkey was dark meat and I didn’t have a garlic clove(I used garlic powder instead). I tried a new barbecue sauce, Dimples BBQ Sauce, it added a sweetness to balance the lime and vinegar. I can’t want to do a turkey again just to have these sandwiches. Thanks.
