There’s going to be a lunar eclipse tonight, but it’s not just any lunar eclipse (as if any eclipse at all isn’t cool enough)! It’s also the winter solstice, which makes this lunar eclipse even more special because this will be the first time in centuries that a lunar eclipse falls on the winter solstice. How’s that for a fun fact? So if you and your kids are going to view the eclipse tonight (and we totally think you should — it’ll make for a great astronomy lesson!), you’re going to need some late night snacks to tide you and your little astronomers over. We’ve got a few moon-shaped snacks for you that are perfect for the occasion!
