Hands-On Time: 5 min

This delectable concoction tastes remarkably like the candy for which it was named. Very popular, especially with the ladies, serve this kicky cocktail with flair in a sugar-rimmed martini glass.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounce citrus flavored or regular vodka
1 ounce limoncello liqueur
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
sugar
1 slice lemon
Directions:
Simple syrup is very easy to prepare. Place equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. The mixture lasts a week or so in the fridge. You can also heat the mixture in the microwave.
1. Rub the rim of a martini glass with the edge of a cut lemon. Place a thin layer of sugar on a plate and dip the rim of the glass in the sugar to coat.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker 1/2 full with ice cubes. Add the vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and simple syrup and shake vigorously.
3. Strain into the prepared martini glass and garnish with a slice of lemon. Serve immediately.
