Make Tutti-Frutti Smoothies with Adorable Fruit Skewers

My daughter comes home from school hungry. Hungry as in ravenous. Her hunger is no joke, and each weekday I have to rise to the occasion and meet her expectations. One of the things we’ve been enjoying while the fruit is still fresh and local is this awesome smoothie. It has three main ingredients and is a snap to make. Then, to make it cute, and fun, I add some Mott’s®  Fruit Flavored Snack skewers on top. It takes just one little packet and a couple toothpicks, and her smoothie is transformed into the cutest darn snack you’ve ever seen. Here is how we make these sweet little sips for after school!

    This delicious and easy smoothie drink takes just three ingredients to make and looks adorable topped off with Mott's®  Fruit Flavored Fruit Snack Skewers.

    I start with 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup frozen strawberries (still frozen), and one cup orange juice.

    I took four snacks and skewered them on the toothpick in a cute pattern. They slide right and won't slip off!

  • Place the berries in the blender 4 of 7

    My blender is packed away, so I used my food processor instead. I use frozen strawberries because they double as ice! It is so nice not to have to dilute all the good fruity juices with ice.

  • Pour in the juice 5 of 7

    Next, pour in the fruit juice and make sure everything is evenly distributed in the bottom of the bowl.

  • Blitz! 6 of 7

    Blitz everything for as long as you want! I like to make mine as smooth as possible.

  • Serve with skewers 7 of 7
    Tutti Frutti Smoothie

    Pour the smoothie into the cups and top with skewers. Serve up to hungry kids!
