Saturday 5:15 p.m. – I’m hungry and not in the mood to cook. I’m hungry and want something extraordinary. I’m hungry and time is not on my side because I don’t like to eat late. I could eat chips and dip. I could eat a candy bar. I could eat a bear right now if you let me. Save the bear and celebrate National Grilled Cheese month instead. I’ll snoop around my kitchen and see what I find.
Saturday 5:30 p.m. – I found some treasures. A block of manchego cheese, a small jar of fig jam, some left over prosciutto, crusty soft french bread, and some room temp butter. The rest is history and already in my stomach! Here’s to National Grilled Cheese Month!
