Tomorrow Wednesday March 30th, Martha Stewart is doing a Vegan Show. Featuring vegan guests – discussing vegan recipes and topics. Incredibly timely of Martha – since veganism continues to be a hot topic in the food world. Martha’s vegan show follows in the footsteps of Oprah, who just last month did a vegan-themed show with guests Kathy Freston and Michael Pollan. Find out tomorrow’s vegan guests and what you can expect from the show - and see my Martha Stewart Show pics!..
View the Show: on the Hallmark Channel, 10 AM ET/9 AM C
During her reign as America’s domestic icon, Martha Stewart has shown millions of people how to baste a turkey, braise a lamb and roast a chicken, but tomorrow, the woman who wrote the book (literally) on home entertaining will devote an entire hour-long episode of “The Martha Stewart Show” to the pleasures and benefits of a vegan lifestyle.
Martha has always embraced discussing veg diets – she has in the past featured vegan bloggers (such as VeganYumYum) and veg-friendly bakers and chefs (like Babycakes Bakery founder Erin McKenna) – but an all-vegan show is quite exciting for the veg community! And Martha does love wellness and health eating. She has her very own “green juice habit“.
I am thrilled to have attended the Martha Stewart Show live taping twice now. Once for Martha’s Earth Day themed show and once for her tech-themed show. But tomorrow will be a vegan show featuring the guests: Farm Sancturay President and Co-Founder Gene Baur, Twitter’s vegan co-founder, Biz Stone and Kathy Freston, author of Veganist.
Martha Stewart’s “Vegan Show” is an example of the growing mainstream movement away from unhealthy animal foods and toward healthy, cruelty-free plant-based foods.

Now that Martha and Oprah have jumped on the “lets talk vegan” bandwagon, when do you think Food Network will follow suit???
