Mint Oreo Mug Brownie in 1-Minute!Kelsey Banfield
I’ve made a my share of mug cakes and I think my favorite is this mug brownie. This is a variation of Julie’s fantastic recipe from last year. When I made it recently I stuffed a mint oreo into the middle for a minty kick. They looked really cute and festive for upcoming St. Patrick’s Day. It is the time of year when everything seems like it should be minty green. Here are is how I made it, I highly recommend you give it a try!
Mint Oreo Mug Brownie
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons water
1 pinch kosher salt
1 mint oreo cookie
1. Stir together the flour, brown sugar, and cocoa powder. Then whisk in the canola oil, water and salt. Pour the batter into a microwave safe mug and press a mint oreo cookie down into the batter. Microwave the mug for about 45 second, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Enjoy!
