MLS Soccer: 10 Healthy Sports Snacks for Your Little Beckham

By Kelsey Banfield |

Chewy Walnut Trail BarsThere is a lot of buzz today about the Major League Soccer SuperDraft. I used to love playing soccer and was so excited when the MLS was started. I like being a fan of the teams. Watching them reminds me of how much fun I had when I was little playing junior league soccer. We played those kind of games where each team scored 10 goals apiece and we ate orange slices at halftime. I did not go on to play professional sports (obviously), but my parents kept me in tip top shape when I was young so I got the most of my youth leagues. Their strategy mostly meant making sure I ate well and got lots of rest. To keep your little Beckham going strong on the field here are some delicious healthy sports snacks from The Family Kitchen.
