Monster Mash Song and Dance Madness

By Ole & Shaina Olmanson |

This afternoon, my children will be creating bright orange bowls of their very own monster mash while singing along:

He did the mash, He did the monster mash. The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash!

What could possibly be more fun than mashing up your own monster mash as Mom gives you permission to lay with your food? Keep reading for monster mash recipe and for the video of the song!

Monster Mash

1/2 cup homemade applesauce
1/4 cup homemade pumpkin purée
2-3 tablespoons frosting with all natural purple food dye

Let your kids scoop applesauce and pumpkin purée into a bowl or onto their cute, Halloween-themed plate and mix. Add icing designs and devour with a spoon.

A perfect, easy and fun Halloween snack. Recommended listening? The Monster Mash Song, of course!
