For the next cookbook on my list of Top 10 Favorite Cookbooks I’ve picked an essential bread and pizza baking guide. You could call it my bible for all things regarding yeast and flour:

2. MY BREAD by Jim Lahey with Rick Flaste.

Jim is the founder and owner of The Sullivan Street Bakery in NYC (a modern Italian bakery that is a must-visit the next time you’re in The Big Apple), but he’s arguably best known for his revolutionary no-knead bread recipe. It will change your life.

But my most favorite recipes, the ones I make on an almost weekly basis for the entire family, are the ones for his roman-style pizzas: a simple dough, baked in sheet pan, with rustic and delicious toppings. These, I think, will also change your life.
