New Zodiac and Sign Dates: Foods for Every Sign

The people at the Minnesota Planetarium Society are reminding us that the dates we follow for our astrological signs are not true to the original dates. Because the moon’s gravitational pull has made the Earth wobble around on its axis over the years, the actual dates we have all relied on for our zodiac signs our whole lives have been wrong. Here is a list of the new astrological dates and some fun recipes to go along with them.

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16: Chicken and Stars Soup, simple yet practical

Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11: Chewy Walnut Trail Bars, all good things rolled up into one

Pisces: March 11-April 18: Nutella Ice Cream, sweet, smooth and addictive

Aries: April 18-May 13: Bison Chili, spicy and full of flavor

Taurus: May 13-June 21: Thai Red Curry Flank Steak, can be tough, but is usually tender

Gemini: June 21-July 20: Snickers Salad: The Potluck Dish Everyone Loves, because you’ll always be surprised

Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10: Dreamy Coconut Dream Cake, elegant, sweet, understated

Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16: Easy Lobster Thermador, a little feisty, but always first class

Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30: Wild Rice Salad with Cranberries, practical, good for any occasion, can go with anything

Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23: Sesame Noodles, back and forth

Scorpio: Nov. 23-29: Chocolate on chocolate Cupcakes, really deep and full of flavor

Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17 *Discarded by the Babylonians because they wanted 12 signs per year

Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20: Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, fun and exciting
