Food Astrology For Your New Zodiac Sign (or Old One!)

By OneHungryMama |

new zodiac signs foodWell, the world—and The Family Kitchen—are all abuzz about major changes in the world of astrology. Apparently the dates for signs have shifted: do you have a new zodiac sign? (Sadly) I do, but I don’t think I’ll take it on. I’m happy being a Leo and that’s the sign I’ll look up to find more about my FOOD ASTROLOGY. (Two astrological “who knew’s” in one day!).

According to, “Food Astrology is about food habits of different zodiac signs.” Apparently, there are specific foods and food preparations best-suited for each sign. Shaina already wrote about What the New Zodiac Sign Dates Mean for Your Health and Diet. And now you can look up your new zodiac sign (or maybe your old one!) to see if food astrology is on point about your favorite dishes or ingredients. Maybe look up both to see how your tastes might change! Or why not check your partner’s or little one’s sign to make them a treat sure to be right up their (zodiac) alley!

Here are the new zodiac sign dates:

The New Zodiac Sign Dates:
Capricorn: Jan. 20 – Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 – March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18- May 13
Taurus: May 13- June 21
Gemini: June 21- July 20
Cancer: July 20- Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10- Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16- Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30- Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23- Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29- Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17- Jan. 20

Here’s where you can look up your (or a loved one’s!) food astrology, old or new.

Have fun!

  2. Lindsey says:

I don’t believe that we have new signs… The stars determine our make-up at birth, thus this new sign would affect a different generation. However, I’m still skeptical of this new sign and it’s accuracy.

I will always be a pisces new or old do u know how many tears I have cried all my life it wouldn’t make sense if iwasnt a pisces

  4. Belle says:

I am a card-carrying Aquarius and I’ll be darned if their gonna make me a Capricorn now! I don’t honestly put much stock in the zodiac defining me but I do believe the stars have some bearing on our lives and I can’t be swayed into thinking this entire generation was living a lie.
