Pack a Rainbow School Lunch with YOPLAIT TRIX

I love sending my kids to school with fun, colorful lunches. I figure, school can sometimes feel like you’re stuck in the doldrums, and a little brightly colored food has a way of making the day a little better than it was before. Of course, there are lots of totally unhealthy, artificial ways to pack a rainbow school lunch for your kids, but why not perk it up with a few fresh fruits and veggies, in all the colors of the rainbow, and carton of YOPLAIT Trix Yogurt?

To pack this bento-style, rainbow lunch, I simple tossed the following into a reusable plastic container, making sure the colors  were descending in rainbow order:

  • 1 carton YOPLAIT TRIX YOGURT in the center of the container
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 banana
  • A handful of fresh green beans (peas would work, as well)
  • 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1 rainbow-chip granola bar

Arrange it all in your container, cover with a lid, and send your  kiddo to school with a rainbow!

A big thanks to Yoplait Trix for sponsoring this campaign. Click here to see more of the discussion.
