Pancakes for Breakfast in Bed? Four Easy Mother's Day Recipes

By brooklynsupper |

Making breakfast in bed is a Mother’s Day tradition and pancakes are the centerpiece of every breakfast in bed, but not all of us know how to make pancakes. Personally, I’ve never seen the appeal of eating pancakes in bed, but I’ve got you covered with plenty of pancake recipes nonetheless- from the traditional to the fancy, the simple to the complicated. Just try not to get maple syrup on the sheets.

Whole Wheat Pancakes with Dried Cherries
The whole wheat makes these pancakes pretty healthy (unless you have a heavy hand with they syrup), but you’d never be able to tell from the taste.

Easy Blueberry Pancakes
Blueberry pancakes are the most classic pancake recipe. Easy and delicious, any mom will love these.

Cornmeal Buttermilk Pancakes with Blueberry-Pear Syrup
Cornmeal gives these pancakes a unique and inviting texture and the blueberry-pear syrup takes old-fashioned maple to the next level.

Dutch Baby Pancakes
Dutch baby pancakes are fluffy variety of pancake that you make in the oven. They’re a little more work than the ones you make on the griddle, but the taste is totally worth the effort. And isn’t the mother in your life worth a little extra effort?

YUM! We love our pancakes made from scratch using Kamut Wheat and egg replacer since our son has an egg allergy! They turn out awesome and healthy too!
