Peanut Butter & Jelly Jack O’Lantern

PBJ Jack O Lantern

I know, it’s early, but I can’t help myself. I made the peanut butter banana caterpillar and it got me thinking about creepy crawlies and halloween and the next thing I know I’m making a peanut butter and jelly Jack O’Lantern. I made it randomly for myself, just for fun! Why not? Now I know what to make for my daughter’s play date this afternoon. I’ll get everything ready and let them spread the peanut butter and create their own pumpkin faces. Fun, easy and healthy after school snack.

If peanut butter is not your thing, use any type of nut/seed butter. I use peanut butter with just peanuts, no hydrogenated oils and sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

  • Jammin’ 3 of 6

Place a tablespoon of jam into a baggie and cut just the tiniest part of the corner off. I chose low sugar organic strawberry.

The easiest way to create a Jack O'Lantern face is to outline the shapes you want.

  • Fill in the Shapes 5 of 6

Fill in the rest of the shape with jam.
