Peanut Butter Krispie Egg Bites for Easter

Easter Egg Bites

I love to make easy, healthy snacks for my kids. There is no need to go way over the top when it comes to food that is going to be consumed in .2 seconds. For Easter I decided to make our favorite granola bites in cute egg shapes and serve them in an egg carton to my daughter. She thought they were SO cool. Here is how I made them they would be perfect to make for a snack this week!

Peanut Butter Krispie Egg Bites for Easter

1/3 cup all natural honey

¼ cup smooth peanut butter

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup crispy rice cereal

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

¼ cup dried cranberries

Melt butter, honey, and peanut butter in a large saucepan. Stir well over medium heat until it is a smooth mixture. Remove from heat and pour in the cereal, dried cranberries, and oats. Mix well. Use your hands to form the mixture into egg-sized and egg-shaped bites. Place them in an egg carton. Place them in the refrigerator to cool for about thirty minutes. Then serve!
