Peanut Butter S'mores Bites with HEFTY Slider Bags

We made s’mores last night, and they were so messy. One kid got marshmallows in their hair. Another took off crying because his marshmallow fell into the fire (okay, SIX of his marshmallows fell into the fire…I’d be a little sad, too, I think). It was just a generally miserable experience. But I so love the idea of S’mores. Which is why I got home from last nights fiasco, grabbed a HEFTY Slider Bag, and decided to make mini peanut butter S’mores Bites without muss or fuss. Here’s how to get a batch of these fun little snackers right in your own kitchen!

Toss a cup of your favorite graham-cracker flavored cereal into a HEFTY Slider Bag. Crush with a rolling pin.

In a small bowl, combine a half-cup each of peanut butter and melted chocolate chips.

Stir mini marshmallows into the peanut butter mixture. Then, drop the marshmallows one by one into your HEFTY Slider Bag full of crushed cereal. Then….

Shake! Shake! Shake! Then snack! Snack! Snack!

Peanut Butter S’mores Bites with HEFTY SLIDER BAGS

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker type cereal, crushed in a HEFTY Slider Bag
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter and chocolate. Stir in marshmallows until coated with peanut butter mixture. Toss marshmallows into the HEFTY Slider Bag filled with crushed cereal. Add the powdered sugar to the bag of cereal and shake until marshmallows are coated with the cereal. Remove marshmallows and trasnfer to a clean HEFTY Slider Bag. Store in fridge or freezer until ready to snack!
