Pecan Blondies

Who doesn’t love the taste of cookie dough? When I make chocolate chip cookies I love the dough without the chocolate chips. Apparently, I’m not alone! My friend Chef Dawn Viola also loves the vanilla and brown sugar infused flavors in America’s favorite cookies. Perhaps that is how the blondie was invented.

The flavors in blondies aren’t overwhelmed by chocolate. The texture is reminiscent of a brownie.. warm and chewy but the flavors taste a lot like that spoonful of cookie dough batter you snagged while mom was looking the other way.
