The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will be hosting the Philadelphia International Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The flower show will run March 6-13. The theme of this year’s show is “Springtime in Paris.” This year’s show will be showcase everything French, As you enter the show, you will pass under the arch of a four-ton replica of the base of the Eiffel Tower. It will even have a light display every hour like the real one in Paris.
This flower show will feature all types of beautiful flowers, including edible ones and even flowering herbs. I have always been fascinated by flowering herbs. In this picture to the left, Todd and Diane of White on Rice Couple have created an unlikely bouquet made of leek and fennel flowers found in their garden. While Todd and Diane are both amazing cooks, food bloggers and photographers, Diane has this secret career fantasy – to be a florist. We think Diane would have no problem becoming an amazing florist with this unique and stunning bouquet made from the vegetable garden. In their special post about herb flower bouquets, you can also see even more examples of lovely flowering herb bouquets.
