A few weeks ago I visited a strawberry field here in California…. I was so taken by the sweetness of the gorgeous berries, that the second I got home I created this cake. My Momma loves poppy seed cake so I combined the two elements to tickle her fancy. Need less to say we were both completely smitten by the cake and how moist it was due to the olive oil I used. Plus the strawberry frosting put us over the edge. I think I will be making this cake again and again. Enjoy!
